Olive Olio's is one of those little tucked away neighbourhood cafes. Coffee is always hot, indoor or outdoor seating & delicious sweets or savouries for a light lunch. My curried vegetable samosa was delish. Close to Gyro park for visit before or after.

Just a short walk from UVic, Olive Olio's serves delicious coffee as well as reasonably priced and fresh made baked goods. The service was also very quick and friendly.

When ever I come here I always get the breakfast burrito and the London fog. All of the drinks and meals are delicious, but this is probably my favourite. Here you can get one of the best breakfasts in Victoria, especially considering the reasonable price. If you're looking for somewhere to get a cozy, fulfilling meal and a tea remember to come here!

Quaint little cafe tucked away in the heart of Cadboro Bay. Fresh homemade baked goods and wonderful coffees and teas.

Nice small selection of eats. Had the curried yam peanut soup with a ham and Monterey Jack sandwich. Very tasty. The service was very nice and I didn't have to wait long for the food.

Great cozy little place for coffee and a treat. The espresso is tasty, and the chai latte is the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend!

So happy to shelter here on a windy day. House made light lunches are a reprieve from fast food with a nice selection of baked goods and beverages. Summer brings a large patio and people watching. The dog can sleep in the shade under your bench!

Stayed in downtown Victoria (I'm from WA state) and this was by far the best meal I had all week. We happened to stumble upon this place driving around since it was pretty rainy. Granted, I only had the tortellini salad, a pastry, and a latte but the tortellini itself was to die for.

What a great place to have coffee that is many steps above Starbucks. And the treats are local and taste beyond description.

A gem tucked away just before you get to the beach. A wonderful spot to meet up with friends and soak up a bit of sun. Their mocha is delicious!

Great little coffee shop. I like the samosas and the veggie breakfast burritos. It's a nice place to go in the summer for the patio, and because of the proximity to the beach, or in the winter for a hot chocolate. The patio is dog friendly (I don't have a dog, but I like seeing the ones that visit there). Parking is a bit tight out front but there's more behind the building.

This is my go-to place. There's no better coffee in the city. Their selection of fresh to order sandwiches and soups changes daily. I most often just get whatever combo is on offer. They also have consistently offered menu items (e.g. veggie breakfast burrito, beef and chicken empanadas) that are consistent for a reason. Each time I am there, which is very often, I am consistently impressed. Impeccable service. Also, while not something everyone cares about, their musical selections are always on point and at a comfortable volume for chit chat. If I could give this place a trillion stars, I would.

What a great little local eatery (& coffee shop) by the beach with savoury options for quick homemade snacks or meals. The coffee and chai lattes are perfection! The service is friendly & speedy, and it’s relaxing environment to read or get a little work done! I may integrate morning pit stops here as part of my routine. 🏖 📚 ☕️

A local coffee shop with character. Located in a beautiful nook in Cadboro Bay, kitty corner from Starbucks... Unlike Starbucks, this cafe has flavourful espresso, and ambiance. The pastries are delicious, offering gluten free and vegan options. Perfect place to get a coffee to take on a five minute stroll down to Gyro Park and the beach.

Great atmosphere. Very friendly and engaging owner who ensures high quality coffee and food. Wonderful place to sit outdoors as well.

Warm, friendly service. I had one of the most delicious soy london fogs ever! Beautiful location and a few minutes walk down to the beach.

Nice little coffee shop with nummy baking but my cappuccino was terrible. 1 out of 10. After I watched how the espresso was made and no wonder. She didn't tamp the grinds so the water ran through in like 2 secs.

Decent tea, but pretty pricey! 3 stars because there were very few choices for alternative (dairy free) goodies. Furthermore there were not too many options for alternative milk choices.

I want to give this place 3.5 stars, but there isn't an option. The food and coffee was tasty but the overall selection was small. It's a little cramped too.

An absolutely lovely experience every time I go. The owner is a really special guy who plays wonderful music which sets a perfect atmosphere and he's very open to interesting conversation. The latte's with oat milk are delicious and a definite recommendation anytime. Thank you. A special place.
